So's Reel Thoughts: August 2009

this is my first experimental short i made. check it out.

this is what you should do before you watch this. ISOLATE YOURSELF FROM EVERYONE. watch it in total darkness. i want you to watch this whole short in one sitting. if you choose to call it quits half way, and im SURE some will fail, then dont even view it at all. dont be afraid to feel. now watch.

i know october isnt till another month away but a serious man, the new film by the coen bros havent been getting much publicity. i felt like it came out of nowhere. but whos complaining! i love the coen bros. this just seems like another great black comedy like raising arizona, burn after reading, and etc. they know how to tell a good story and never cease to amuse me. and at this point all i can say is HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. and im serious. a serious man comes out oct 2!

The Dark Knight's Christopher Nolan is back again with a new film with Leonardo DiCaprio as jacob, a CEO-type who becomes involved in a blackmailing scandal. i dont know what to think of this little clip but that it has many similaries to the matrix. (and not just the flying part.)

Inception comes out next summer 2010

where the wild things are's soundtrack will be featuring original songs by karen o and the kids. and heres the first song off the album. in my opinion, its not as godly as the arcade fire's wake up, but it goes hand in hand with the film's main theme: childhood. click here to listen.
