IVE MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION!

what can i say besides that it was AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH-SOME! i must admit that it is THE ultimate chick flick with cool-ass chicks, hot boys, and some niiiiiice tunes. honestly it doesnt get better than that! and i think even boys will enjoy this. what kind a guy will turn down a movie thats inundated with hot chicks kicking some serious ass and have their underwear practically hanging out while doing it? come on man!

this is drew barrymore's first debut film and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. i had a lot of fun just mindlessly watching this. i got so into the roller derby scenes that at one point, i too wanted to take my shirt off and just yell "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

ellen page NEVER lets me down. this is possibly the third mainstream film shes been in out of a million other indie flicks youve probably never heard of (hard candy, mouth to mouth, an american crime). and even though in my book she is considered to be one of the finest young actresses around, it was incredible to see her share the screen with mainstream media veterans like marcia gay harden, kristen wiig, juliette lewis, drew barrymore, and even eve (yes, the rapper). what was the coolest/scariest part in this film was the fact that juliette lewis was the "enemy." and honestly, i would never ever want to be on lewis' bad side cause she will literally KICK. YOUR. ASS!

overall, it was a fun movie with awesome action and even a bit of a love story which makes me squeal like a 9 year old gay boy every time i think about it. page falls in love with the quintessential rocker guy ever girl dreams about, but can rarely maintain.

i was very lucky today. i was one of the very few who got a sneak peek of this film (which i got in for free, but long story) and even got a free shirt! honestly, i cant be happier. B

cool right!? this film comes out oct 2.

denzel washington in an aammmmmmazing actor. i saw a clip of training day and i almost pissed my pants cause he scared me shitless. sadly his last film, pelham 123 flopped big time. we havent seen him in a good film in a very long time until now. check this trailer out for the book of eli. turns out the hughes brothers directed this. (say who?) honestly, i dont really know who they are considering ive never watched their films. (ie: dead presidents, american pimp, from hell) they all sound like they couldve been great films, if it hadnt been for their b rated stories and horrible titles. (american pimp. seriously?)

anywho, the cast is great, cinematography is awesome, and i love badass movies. denzel and gary oldman are by far (next to daniel day of course!) some of the few outstanding male actors ive ever seen on the screen. im hoping this film will not disappoint.

(the sound quality is bad)
and mila kunis is just not believable to me.
the second version of this trailer is out now but this one explained more of the story. but check out the second one cause most definitely its better.

p.s. what is this i hear denzel doing a inside man 2. inside man was great! why is spike lee trying to ruin his own film by making a sequel. come on spike, youre better than this!

hmm... what can i say about jennifer's body, besides that megan fox is hot. its honestly just another showcase of how hot megan fox is blahblahblah, yeah im jealous. from a horror film stand point, its not much of a horror film. i would call it a horedy. horror + comedy = horedy. really, it is. i must admit, as an amateur horror viewer, at some points it was unnerving but varsity horror watchers should have no problem with it. (on second thought, horror buff shouldnt even watch this unless, they just want to make fun of it) i dont know think the audience is ready for a movie like jennifer's body. it IS more of a cult movie, like teeth (hehe).

i think half the audience i sat with were saying to themselves " what the fuck am i watching. " this teenage boy behind me was squirming in his seat and im sure he was only watching the flick because of fox. it was such an absurd film about demonic subjects that i couldnt help but laugh. at some points, diablo cody's writing seemed like she was trying too hard to make up new teenage lingo like jello for jealous and whatnot. but i admit, i give her props for making fox say one liners ive never heard said in a teenage movie, ever.

like i said its not for everyone. for me, i thoroughly enjoyed watching high school boys with drool stains being devoured by fox one after another. im not going to lie, this film was mediocre. nothing special. nothing new. but it was still fun. C+

p.s. theres also a cameo from our once favorite teen crush. and im surprised that hes even in this film.

you see that up there? yeah, matt damon, 30 pounds heavier and sporting a stash. thats the exact face i had throughout the whole entire movie. "what the eff is goin on?" this offbeat and zany film about, wait let me have imdb do the talking.

imdb: The U.S. government decides to go after an agri-business giant with a price-fixing accusation, based on the evidence submitted by their star witness, vice president turned informant Mark Whitacre.

mark whitacre played by matt damon was superbly played and does it with such conviction that i almost believed it. his corky thoughts just dribble out of his chubby lips like a stand up comedian and guess what? theyre actually funny. i didnt know what to think going into the theaters knowing that i had not watched the trailer previously or anything. but to my non-existent expectations, all assumptions during the film were thrown out the roof. if you like surprises, you will enjoy this. theyre not like the sixth sense or seven kind of surprises, they are like small and little gifts of shock that just unravel one by one.

considering how the tagline is: based on a tattle-tale, he just reminds me of that one fat kid in elementary school who would spill the beans to the teacher by mumbling his confession while sucking on a chocolate fudge. (no?) hahha anywho, i give it a B.

duncan jones is soon to be my favorite director. why? first of all, he directed this summer's indie hit, moon. second, he is david bowie's son. third, his style and idea of filmmaking is something i couldnt even dream of myself. and everyone in the film industry, including me is drooling and patiently waiting for what he'll do next. liberty film (jones' production company) has highlighted a project in development called mute.

firstshowing says: The single piece of art paints the picture of a Blade Runner-esque future with the dark tones of a film noir. All we know is Mute is a thriller about a mute bartender looking for his abducted girlfriend in a future Berlin and the antagonists of this story are a comedy duo.

some people might say it sounds a bit mr. vengeance-like but nonetheless, i believe in this fresh talent and i really do hope to see more of him. people need to bring film noir back. and judging by the photo alone, i have very high expectations of him after his phenomenal first feature film.

JEALOUS.

yes, that tom ford. the iconic fashion designer has now gone behind the camera to make this visually stunning film starring an all star cast. colin firth plays a gay professor who's dealing with the death of a longtime lover. and naturally, their wardrobe is absolutely flawless. i hear that this film doesn't have a distributor(?) yet so hopefully it gets one so this piece of artwork can finally show in theaters!!!!

the genius behind monty python and the holy grail, brazil, twelve monkeys, and fear and loathing in las vegas is coming out with another film, i KNOW for sure that wont disappoint. this is heath ledger's last film and already by the preview, you know that he will surely deliver. as well as three other a-list actors and the hottest studs around tinseltown-- johnny depp, jude law, and colin farrell. i honestly. cant. wait! gilliam always does films that seem to tap into the human brain to wholly show in mind-blowing visuals whats actually going on in there.

this film comes out on xmas. you can count on me to skip my family dinner and be the first one in line with my red and green knit santa sweater with a gallon of popcorn wrapped around my barely visible fingers. tehehe.
