Film Vlog: Elysium (2013)

I'm late with this review but like I say, "Better Late, than Never!" I definitely expected more from Neill Blomkamp considering his directorial debut, District 9 was an outstanding first film that even got the attention of the Academy. I mean what a feat! But like with all good things, big budget doesn't necessary translate to good content (ahem) Elysium. It is a decent summer sci-fi film but put into context of this "auteur's" talent, I did expect more from him. Oh well, next time Neill!
