IVE MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION!

2014 Golden Globes Predictions

They're baaaacckk! I usually don't like popularity contests and that's all these award shows are! But when Amy Poehler (my ultimate fav) and Tina Fey teamed up last year to host The 70th Golden Globe Awards, it was one of the most outrageously fun nights in award season history! If you completely forgot all the crazy sheninigans that happened, let me refresh your memory: here, here, here or js watch the intro monologue! Not only are they going to be hosting The 71st Golden Globes this Sunday but will continue to give us the giggles till 2016!!! I'm definitely going to need some tissues for my tears (of laughter, duh).

I guess that's not all that I should be excited for! The films in 2013 was one of the best yet and the competition is going to be super fierce. Like Beyonce FIERCE! So here we go! I am going to highlight in BLUE what I want to win and in RED who will most likely win.

BEST MOTION PICTURE – DRAMA
12 YEARS A SLAVE
CAPTAIN PHILLIPS
GRAVITY
PHILOMENA
RUSH

This is a tough one considering everyone will favor both films for what it has to offer individually but once it comes down to it, the real-life story of the devastating enslavement of Solomon Northup is going to win critics over. I mean, come on, how are they going to say no to a slavery story?

BEST MOTION PICTURE – COMEDY OR MUSICAL

INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS
NEBRASKA
THE WOLF OF WALL STREET
As much as I want to believe the Hollywood Foreign Press would finally cater to my needs by letting the "right" person win, I'm pretty sure they love anything David O. Russell touches. I don't know what it is but I see the Golden Globes as the High School prom and they will pick anyone they think is cool and popular. Ya feel me?
