'Movie 43' Trailer

The red-band trailer of the R-rated ensemble comedy Movie 43 just got released and even though this film is a collection of works from many different directors and starring basically everyone from Hollywood,  I still don't know how I feel about it. It carries a whiff of cheesiness that most spoof films like Scary Movie (2000) or Not Another Teen Movie (2001) tend to emit. But considering it's a collaborative project directed by the likes of Bob Odenkirk, Brett Ratner, Peter Farrelly, Elizabeth Banks and much more and starring (take a breath, ok here we go) Chloe Grace Moretz, Hugh Jackman, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, Gerard Butler, Kate Winslet, Richard Gere, Uma Therman, Chris Pratt, Anna Faris, Justin Long, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kieran Culkin and a few more people, I'm down to watch it. Maybe they are trying to take big ensemble cast films to another level considering Valentine's Day (2010) and New Year's Eve (2011) bombed so hard. Whatever the deal is with this film, I'm sure Kate Winslett didn't carelessly sign up if it wasn't somewhat interesting. I'll find out what it's all about when Movie 43 is released on January 25, 2013.
